We are able perform a range of reproduction services, and can offer advice and procedures to suit your needs.  With a focus on the mare and getting her to the point of foal we offer the following services

• Ovary scanning to predict stage in the cycle and ovulation
• Pregnancy diagnosis from 14-45 days  (Manual palpation can be done in the last 1-2 months of gestation)
• Post foaling checks
• Management and manipulation of breeding cycles
• Caslick procedure and removal

A portable ultrasound machine is available for scanning the reproductive tract and enables us to provide above services.

All work is undertaken on properties, and so we require some form of restraint, especially when performing rectal examinations.  The best restraint is a purpose built horse crush, however please contact the clinic to discuss options prior to the job.
